At the Y, they understand that when people from all backgrounds have the opportunity to get to know one another and work side-by-side to advance the common good, communities grow stronger and more cohesive. That's why the BN YMCA is joining the celebration of Welcoming Week this year! From September 15th - 19th, YMCAs around the country will work to bring newcomers to our community together with current residents through community-based events to promote cross-cultural understanding. It'sMyCU will have a table at the BN YMCA during this event!

The River City Classic Golf Tournament is hosted by the Ottawa Area Chamber annually. While, we won't be in person at this event, we were excited to sign up to be the golf ball sponsor! Have fun everyone.

It'sMyCU is partnering with the Bloomington-Normal YMCA for their magical evening of fall fun at the YMCA’s Storybook Spooktacular! This event is FREE & open to the public. This family-friendly festival features a whimsical Trunk or Treat, inspired by classic children’s books, along with games, crafts, and festive activities for all ages. Come in costume and get ready for a night where the wild things are—and the sweet treats too!

It'sMyCU will have a booth at the Sophomore Career Expo. A career exploration event to bring area students to meet with local industry partners, learn about career paths, and job specific education, certification, or required skills. The goals are to allow students opportunities to begin thinking about their post-secondary plans, explore careers of interest, and meet with potential employers.
