It'sMyCU is partnering with Bloomington Public Library to offer a Reality Fair For Teens

Description: 

Join representatives from Illinois State Credit Union for a life-size game of LIFE. teens will be assigned a career and will then need to budget as they navigate the world of getting a credit card, buying a house, and other real-world scenarios.

• Registration will open on June 22, 2026 at 10:00 am
• This event is for 6th Grade to 12th Grade.

With help from Illinois State Credit Union, attendees will gain a better understanding of credit reports, credit scores, and how they work together.

Millions of people are unaware that they have errors on their credit report. Or maybe you know what is on your credit report but you're unsure how it all comes together to calculate a credit score.

What You Will Learn:

- What impacts your credit report and credit score

- Why credit is important

- Tips to improve your credit score

Who Should Attend:

- Anyone interested in better understanding what impacts their credit

- Anyone looking to maintain or improve their credit score

- Anyone with errors on their credit report
